Petworth is my home. I've lived here for seven years, bartending at Petworth Social, coaching a 10U softball team at Upshur Field, and showing up for block dinners with neighbors.

My first real brush with the ANC came in 2018, after a drive-by shooting outside my old house on Kansas Ave. Our Commissioner showed up and helped us navigate what came next. That's when I realized how much this support matters, and it's a big part of why I ran.

That bar work showed me how hard it is for small businesses to navigate permitting and rising rent. Dinner conversations highlight the need for more housing density, safer streets, faster transit, and less gun violence.

As Vice Chair of ANC 4C, I've focused on improving trash pickup, working with the community to prevent ICE raids, and helping local businesses navigate licensing. I oversaw the reconstruction of Grant Circle, managed rat abatement efforts, resolved parking disputes for local businesses, and led the redesign of the bus lanes on Upshur. I also helped direct grants to residents and hosted block parties and community events.
